generation adidas international is proud to offer top tier adidas youth clubs in the U.S. an exclusive girls soccer experience in France through its partnership with one of Europe’s strongest women’s sides – Olympique Lyonnais. Players will be given an opportunity to play in competitive friendly games against the Olympique Lyonnais Academy, while also training and receiving professional coaching at the legendary club. During your stay you will also visit the renowned Parc Olympique Lyonnais and attend an official French Ligue 1 game (if available). You will also sightsee in one of France’s most important cities, Lyon!

Having won fourteen Women’s Champions of France titles, as well as three Women’s Champions League titles, Olympique Lyonnais is one of the most successful clubs in women’s soccer, both nationally and internationally.

For Top adidas clubs:

As a premier pillar of the generation adidas platform, the top adidas clubs nationwide have the exclusive opportunity to nominate players for the Olympique Lyonnais Select and other Select programs.

Premier adidas clubs will have the opportunity to nominate one player in either the ‘03 or ‘04 age group for the Olympique Lyonnais Select Program.
Nominees will be selected based on positional needs and qualification.
2019 will feature two squads composed of 16 players. Upon arrival, players will be split in to two teams for competition (some players will flex between the two squads), but will train together.
In conjunction with adidas America, the landed package cost will be covered for selected players (directors, please discuss with your adidas representative or generation adidas international representative for further details). A full training kit plus footwear and additional adidas swag will be presented to each participant. Players will only have to cover the cost of their flight and match tickets.

AUGUST 17:

Depart for Lyon, France.

AUGUST 18:

Arrive in Lyon and transfer to accommodations.
Welcome presentation and free time to relax and adjust from the long journey. Preparations for Olympique Lyonnais Select Training Program.

AUGUST 19:

Olympique Lyonnais Select Training Program. Morning and afternoon sessions with Olympique Lyonnais Academy coaches.

AUGUST 20:

Olympique Lyonnais Select Training Program.
Morning and afternoon sessions with Olympique Lyonnais Academy coaches, and Olympique Lyonnais First Team players.

AUGUST 21:

Visit to Olympique Lyonnais’ Parc Olympique, also known as the Groupama Stadium.
Attend an Olympique Lyonnais first team training session (subject to head coach’s discretion).
Olympique Lyonnais Select Training Program. Afternoon session with Olympique Lyonnais Academy coaches.

AUGUST 22:

Attend an Olympique Lyonnais Women’s first team training session.
Olympique Lyonnais Select Training Program.
Morning session with Olympique Lyonnais Academy coaches. Competitive friendly games #1 and #2 vs. Olympique Lyonnais Academy teams.

AUGUST 23:

Olympique Lyonnais Select Training Program.
Morning session with Olympique Lyonnais Academy coaches.
Guided tour of Lyon, including ‘Vieux Lyon,’ or Old Lyon, like the Lyon Jean Baptiste Cathedral, Basilica de Fourviere, and the Roman Ruins at Theatre Romain.

AUGUST 24:

Competitive friendly games #3 and #4 vs. top level French Academy teams.
*Attend Ligue 1 match (*optional and additional cost, subject to availability).
Visit to Olympique Lyonnnais’ Parc Olympique

AUGUST 25:

Depart from Lyon, France.

The Program Includes

This program includes:

7 Nights accommodation in Lyon in a 3* or 4* hotel
Meal plan: Full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
Pre-arranged competitive matches against French Academy opponents (playing time is not guaranteed and will be based on coaches’ technical decisions)

Having the girls meeting the Real Madrid players was an unforgettable experience for them. Also training and staying at the top class facilities of the City of Futbol gave us the opportunity to really prepare for the season
