This fully inclusive program is available to qualified adidas partner youth clubs, university teams and coaches, and offers valuable insight into the youth development approach of one of the world’s most famous clubs – Brazil’s FLUMINENSE FC.

Having won 3 League titles, 1 Brazilian Cup, 1 International Rio Cup, 1 Copa Libertadores runners-up and 1 South America Cup runners-up, Fluminense FC is among the true powerhouses of Brazilian soccer. The club also holds the most titles for being the state champion of Rio. The club is known for its excellent youth academy that has shaped many professional players such as Marcelo or Rafael and Fabio da Silva.

generation adidas international enables young players of all ages and abilities to experience the passion and Argentinean style of play at this preeminent South American club. Not only will players be given an opportunity to play in competitive matches abroad, but also train and be coached by professionals at one of the most famous soccer clubs in the world – FLUMINENSE FC.

The focus of our program is on developing dedicated players with strong mental, physical and technical skills, along with competitiveness and tournament play. This is done in a safe and fun environment. This is a unique chance to live “futebol” in one of the world’s most passionate soccer countries and with some of the world’s most passionate supporters.

This program includes:

Day 3:

  • Fluminense FC Academy Tour and morning training session.
  • Afternoon training session.

Day 4: 

  • Rio de Janeiro sightseeing
  • Competitive friendly match #1 vs. top Brazilian youth team.

Day 5:

  • Morning training session.
  • Stadium tour of “Maracaná” and megastore shopping.
  • Lunch at a famous Brazilian restaurant.
Day 6: 

  • Attend a professional first team training session (subject to head coach’s discretion) or morning soccer training session.
  • Friendly match #2 vs. top level Brazilian youth team.

Day 7:

  • Sightseeing or morning training session.
  • Sightseeing or afternoon training session.

Day 8:

  • Morning off
  • Friendly match #3 vs. top level Brazilian youth team.

Day 9:

  • Free morning to enjoy the city on your own.
  • Attendance at a professional “Brazilian Brasileirao Trophy” match

Appropriate attire for service projects– students should be wearing Bermuda or basketball length shorts or pants. This is especially important to females. T-shirts should cover the chest and shoulders- nothing too low cut, and no undergarments should ever be showing. Appropriate attire for touring– students will be visiting temples and museums throughout their program. All students will be expected to have their shoulders and knees covered. Please be sure to bring at least one pair of lightweight capris and t-shirts that are modest (no v-neck/low cut tees). *Business casual outfit– a long sleeved collared shirt and lightweight trousers will work best for boys. A long skirt and appropriate shirt is ideal for girls.

Having the girls meeting the Real Madrid players was an unforgettable experience for them. Also training and staying at the top class facilities of the City of Futbol gave us the opportunity to really prepare for the season
