The Washington Timbers Ajax Masterclass Program for Youth Soccer Coaches will introduce our local coaches to how the Ajax Academy designs their training sessions, with emphasis on areas like technique and tactical and physical exercises. This masterclass will focus on techniques for youth ages 8 – 12 years old.
This is a unique opportunity to draw on AFC Ajax’s 40+ years of experience building their world-renowned Youth Academy. Add to that over 30 years of Johan Cruyff’s input and influence, the philosophical planning behind the Ajax Academy system, and the wealth of success in producing world-class professional footballers, and you are in for an unforgettable coaching education experience. And don’t forget the best part – some Ajax drills in the fresh air!
This event will appeal to all professional academy staff, including directors of coaching, academy coaches, speed and agility trainers, and more. Anyone with an interest in improving youth coaching will benefit from an in-depth and authentic insight into Ajax’s training methodology, which will help you further develop your own youth program.
*Accommodations, transportation, and meals are not included.
This program was organized and hosted by the Washington Timbers in June 2017. For more information on organizing a similar coaching education course for your club, please contact:
